Assessed first
Every athlete is assessed before they are programmed. Lean body mass, body fat and muscle imbalances are measured, so the starting point is a number rather than a guess.
A.S.A.P. · Grades 7–11
A.S.A.P. is the Athlete Success Accelerator Program: phased strength, speed and conditioning for student-athletes, after school in Pierrefonds-Roxboro. Now in its fifth year.
Student-athletes in grades 7 through 11, in a sport that asks them to be fast, strong, and still standing in the fourth quarter.
Sessions run 75 minutes. You arrive inside a window rather than at a fixed time, so practice and traffic do not cost your athlete the session.
Nothing here is a drop-in workout. Where an athlete starts depends on what the assessment says, not on how old they are.
Every athlete is assessed before they are programmed. Lean body mass, body fat and muscle imbalances are measured, so the starting point is a number rather than a guess.
Programming is built in phases by an NSCA-certified CSCS. Younger and newer athletes spend longer on movement, speed and body control before anything heavy.
The same measurements are repeated as the athlete trains. Progress comes back as data, so you can see what moved and what did not.
Training is planned around the game schedule rather than against it. In season the work changes shape, so athletes keep what they built instead of trading it for fatigue.
Published here so you can decide whether it fits before anyone takes your time.
It starts with a call — partly to place your athlete at the right level, partly because we take on two new athletes a week, and that pace is what keeps the coaching what it is. If this is not the right place for your athlete, we will say so on the call rather than take your money.
Tell us the sport and the goal. We will tell you honestly whether A.S.A.P. is the right place for it.
